Heloísa Oliveira _ Scientific Coordination

PhD in law (2020) by the University of Lisbon School of Law, with a thesis on environmental damage and reparation. Guest Assistant Professor at the same school since October 2020, where she teaches environmental law, fundamental rights, international public law, and European Union Law. Research Fellow at Lisbon Public Law where she is the PI for two Research Projects: Legal Roadmap Towards a Circular Economy and CLO – Climate Litigation Observatory. She has participated in many scientific meetings and published several papers and book chapters on her area of research, published one book, and co-edited one book. Consultant at the Legal Service of the Portuguese Government, where she acts as a lawyer for the Portuguese Government with a focus on environmental law matters.

Francisca Bento _ Executive Coordination

Graduated Law from the University of Lisbon School of Law in 2020 and is now a Masters student of Environmental, Resources and and Energy Law. Granted a research Initiation Scholarship for studying and creation of a Legal Roadmap for Circular Economy. Interests and main field of expertise are: ecolabelling; circular economy; fundamental rights; intellectual property and sustainable consumption. For a period of six months (September 2019 – February 2020), she worked closely with the Green Deal transition policies while having an internship in the Representation of the European Commission in Portugal.
